How do I convert my baby's age from weeks to months?

Most parents count in weeks for the first 2 to 3 months, then switch to months. Doctors do the same: early checkups and shots are set by weeks, then by months until age 2. After the second birthday, years are fine.
What is corrected age for premature babies?
Corrected age is your baby's age minus the weeks they were born early. A 10-week-old born 4 weeks early has a corrected age of 6 weeks. Use it for milestones until about age 2 — but shots still follow the real birth date.
